The Value of Time
Today’s busy lifestyles are challenging us all to get the most out of our waking hours. All too often it’s 7:00 PM before we begin to think about the "What’s for Dinner" dilemma. Have you ever wondered how much time you spend per week making sure you and your family eat nutritionally balanced meals?

Weekly Menu Planning 1 Hour
Grocery Shopping 2 Hours
Meal Preparation 7-9 Hours
Clean Up 3 Hours
Total Hours Per Week 13-15 Hours

When you utilize the personal chef services of The Garden of Eatin’ LLC, you can recapture those 13-15 hours per week! Put the quality back into your life and use those hours to do what is truly important to you! My Personal Chef service is the ultimate in convenient dining and provides my clients with delicious, home-cooked food, in the comfort of their own home.

Think about it...do you fall into one of these categories?

  • A working couple wanting to slow your evenings down and enjoy a delicious, healthy meal together after a hard day of work.
  • A single man or woman building and concentrating on your career, with no time to even think about fueling your body properly.
  • An active senior that has had enough of grocery stores, kitchens, and cooking.
  • A highly active family with children who are becoming too accustomed to high-fat fast foods and pizza delivery.
  • Working parents relying too heavily on high-preservative, high-sodium "cardboard box" dinners to feed yourself and your family.
  • Someone who loves delicious, high-quality food, customized to your tastes.
  • A person trying to lose weight, with no time to shop for and prepare all those healthy meals you are supposed to be eating

Regardless of which one of these scenarios resonates with you, you'll love the convenience of a Personal Chef! The Garden of Eatin’ has prepared hundreds of meals for clients just like you. And don’t think this service is only for the rich and famous–it's for anyone who doesn't have the time, or the inclination, to cook great tasting, nutritious meals for themselves.

It's easy, it's affordable, and it's a great way to enjoy the foods you love without all the fuss.

Serving Franklin, Fairfield, and Licking Counties and most of the Greater Columbus areas including Downtown, German Village, New Albany, Gahanna, Reynoldsburg, Pickerington and Westerville. Other communities outside of these areas can be accommodated with the addition of a small mileage fee.

Meet Your Chef

Ever since I was old enough to know what was going on, I loved being in the kitchen with my great Aunt and watching her bake and make meals. It all seemed to come so easily to her, no measuring or anything! My first foray into major baking was making a Baked Alaska for my family--I think I was 10 at the time. From that point on, I was hooked.

One of the greatest joys in my life is spending the day filling my house with wonderful aromas from the kitchen. Over the years, I've found that cooking only for myself and sometimes my husband wasn't enough. He prefers a limited selection of foods, so no experimenting on him! I was always (and still am) looking for reasons to have company or throw a party so that I could test out new recipes. My friends would encourage me to become a caterer, but I wanted to do something that would allow me to be more connected to the people for whom I would be preparing the food. Once I decided to leave the corporate world of Architecture and Interior Design and pursue my true love - cooking and baking - I found the American Personal Chef Association and the rest, as they say, is history!

Currently, I live in the Pickerington, OH area with my husband, 3 cats and a Miniature Schnauzer. I have spent the last several years advancing my skills at the local Culinary Academy, through my association with other local personal chefs, and at seminars and training sessions with the American Personal Chef Association. You will be the beneficiary of the many hours I have spent advancing my knowledge in the culinary arts.

I am a professional member of the American Personal Chef Association. I have passed the ServeSafe/Food Manager Safety Certification and I carry General Liability insurance.
